Macbook Air 11" 2011 loose hinge

so few days ago noticed weird creaking / slight stutter when opened mba lid. didn't worry , thought cover.

after checking problem today, found out hinge loose on left side of mac , saw scratches under hinge.

common problem ? can fix ?

 

it's still under warranty, i'd take apple store. perhaps genius bar can tighten up. don't think it's common issue (it pre-2010 models).
