Installing 10.5 on an iMac G4 problems?

hey again,

after buying imac g4, need installing 10.5. imac came linux in master boot record, got hold of asd 2.1.5 seems imac. burnt cd-r, won't read @ all? linux mbr says boot cd, press c (and i've tried holding in c while booting), reads disk , stops. ideas?

also, imac g4 (model: m6498) have ability read dvd+r dl?

i can't linux problem, don't know answer, of imac g4's came either combo drives or super drives, both of can read dvd, however, everymac's specs each version of model show them reading dvd-r, nothing dvd+r or dl dvd's.
