home button has not been working , have press multiple times go. have been using assitive touch make little less frustrating. warranty ran out on release day iphone 4, , don't have apple care. took phone apple store , genius, after doing bunch if different things, gave me 2 choices. live button problem long can, or purchase new phone under contract. opted number 1 , going wait iphone 5 later year. well, been growing more , more frustrated button sticking , went on youtube check possible fixes. found 1 spoken in foreign language, , saw poster put drop of liquid on home button , pressed numerous times. did twice. assumed rubbing alcohol, grabbed bottle of rubbing alcohol, shut off iphone, , added drop button. pressed 30 times, added drop, pressed again, wiped phone down , booted phone. tried using home button in various ways , worked perfectly!!!!
wanted share because worked, , know it's big problem.
