Hinge Popping Sound?

my new macbook pro 15" makes popping or cracking sound on right side of hinge , it's getting worse. use pop once or maybe twice of time when opened it, it's more 6 or 7 times. ran search i'm not sure if sound mine making same of other people. also, when down @ hinge when computer placed vertically, black plastic piece off center right. problem continue worse? normal? i'm particular, , doesn't bother me badly, mbp perfect, @ least long can be.
