i own several apple products including iphone, ipod, ipad, , macbook pro. first imac , arrived yesterday (refurbished 27 imac 2011 apple store).i excited, first set not smooth. after pressed power button, heard tone, screen totally black. waited minute, still nothing showed up. tired turn off , on again. didnt work. if typed in keyboard or move mouse, hear sounds speaker indicating navigating through set options, screen black. after aobut 20 minutes, started panic , dialed apple care number. trying reach technician on phone, screen lit up. ever since then, everyting seems normal. have installed software, created boot camp disk, install windows, surfing internet. quite nice far. still not wondering problem when first trying set imac. has clue or heard before? thanks.
