One process sucking up 118% of my proccessing power

i installed lion , believe spaces sucking processing power dry. according istat nano, using 118% , can see computer running hard, fans @ 6000rpm of time , battery draining quickly. i've attached screen shot istat, need figure out how disable, turn off, or something, because getting little ridiculous.

 

open activity monitor, select processes, sort cpu, , kill it.
