Safari refreshing my tabs automatically...

if running multiple tabs , navigate away 1 or more of them several minutes, once switch unopened tab, safari refreshes it. why this? making incredibly hard accomplish tasks when in safari.

 

are running out of ram?
open activity monitor , select all processes , sort real mem show process(es) using ram.
