so got computer being serviced geek squad folks (hdd failing, girlfriend had bought black tie protection). replaced hard drive , sent back. brought home, reinstalled snow leopard os x install disc, well. began pretty large data transfer external hdd internal (~40gb, not enormous) , went out friends. came find computer frozen. no movement @ all, not beach ball. hard reset holding down power button , computer not boot @ all. start chime, grey screen no apple logo, , that's it. i've tried key command startups know, using apple bluetooth keyboard , mouse, not sure how affects it. thoughts? run issue before. found tons of "freezing on apple logo" ones not 1 this. also, fwiw, once when using cmd+optn+p+r rebooted after pressing them, time when trying that, cd drive spun , got apple logo froze again. otherwise nothing...
