Am I missing something with bootcamp?

hey guys , gals,

not first time setting bootcamp on mac use win 7. have installed , working great. there 1 big problem have tho.

problem have ram dedication , or lack of bootcamp software in windows. on mac book pro used bootcamp asst. install windows. in not mac, friends. no longer has orginal dvd's os x, , snow leppard. ( sorry spelling ) did drivers installed , seems working should be. main problem 2.2gb of ram dedication. x64 version of 7 , upgraded mac 8gb vs 4gb. , still application in question lag's out worse if 10 year old pc. , hints great.
