iPhone showing 'Over Capacity' in iTunes

i have bought new pc, , authorised it. seemed working fine itunes , iphone 4s 32gb, not after syncing, shows message 'over capacity' 22.2gb.

when check memory usage on iphone itself, there 6gb free memory.

have run diagnostics test on itunes no errors.

idea going on?????

before got 4s/64gb, happened me on 3gs/32gb. seems bug related way ios 5 works. see post towards end of page 1 here user thenne. suggested fix in case set sync without music (or whatever makes of data), , turn setting , re-sync (but you'll have copy content onto phone in second step, pain).

fwiw has not happened me 4s, since went 32gb 64gb, have rather lot of free space left far.
