SSDs and Final Cut

hi,
i'm using fcp 7 on mac pro , thinking installing ssd in mac pro speed. people seem put system files , applications on ssd , leave rest rotating discs, can gather. looking ssd use fast scratch disk. system files , apps on ssd seems best route everyday speed, better off keeping final cut on internal drive , using ssd scratch disk files working on? use 2 2tb glyph gt-050qs connected esata scratch disks, , drives read 130 mb/s way.

or best 2 smaller ssds , both, use 1 os x , applications , other scratch files?
