No audio with EyeTV app

i have eyetv hybrid , i'm not getting audio in ipad 2, either recordings or live tv. other apps have audio fine , audio works when watching eyetv on mac mini. idea might causing it? dont see mute button in eyetv ipad software nor have preferences in system preferences on ipad.

edit: tried on iphone 4s , works fine. reinstalled eyetv software on ipad still doesn't work.
