Macbook Aluminum Trackpad issues, please help

i have late 2008 macbook aluminum (which has been outstanding computer last 3 years) , noticing issues trackpad.

suppose behaves normal, noticing several times day curser freeze , not move though moving finger on trackpad. also, have sensitivity turned highest, feels trackpad becoming duller , less responsive. have redo finger movement because curser not responding used to.

leads me believe trackpad starting wear out. computer covered apple care (for 1 more year) think should contact apple? there on own fix trackpad or apple fix it?

check make sure battery not swelling. can put pressure on trackpad, causing problems. yes, let apple check out.
