WiFi Extender set-up problems

help!

i'm trying set netgear wifi extender - wn 2000rpt - enable me access wifi network on ipad outside in garage - , it's driving me mad.

can see extender when check on ipad when try , use connect internet sent netgear smart wizard - go though of reason won't connect , keeps looping nack round same wizard again.

talk me through best way connect extension existing wifi network - appreciated.

have tried contacting netgear or checking website help?

sounds have netgear issue , not ipad or imac issue. (this imac forum after all.)
