Sleep and wake issues

hi everyone, i'm having problems wake , sleep issues in home network.

last night watching movie on apple tv streamed imac. fine until dozed off , fell asleep, tv , apple tv turned off usual after movie finished imac didn't running night long.

ive been having issues waking imac sleep when trying watch movie apple tv or using remote app iphone. never had sleep issues imac before, waking part.

apple tv wakes fine when trying streaming it.

if want wake imac have go , press key wakes up, why that? have wake on lan setting turned on.

have fiber connection in apartment imac connected directly in wall connected through wifi (d-ling dir-300, ancient) can stream content. problem? 2 connections?

wol regarding imac spotty @ best. can wake imac macbook pro accessing via wireless network (i use time capsule router). however, fail , have go on imac , wake via keyboard.

if want totally foolproof may want set power saving not set imac sleep. know isn't great solution work.

not have apple tv can't comment on that.

suggest software update since apple released , update fixes problem waking (wireless network lost on wake bug). may problem.
