Realm of the Mad God requires me to install Adobe Air

i'm try out new free-to-play game on steam window pops saying game i'm launch requires adobe air. here know if adobe air includes adoberesourcesynchronizer? i'm trying avoid having rogue program running on macbook pro , making unnecessarily heat up. got rid of , few other adobe programs months ago, haven't had problems since then.
