quickoffice bullets

quickoffice ipad has done , such making me consider switching alternative:

create word file on mac or wherever (synced via dropbox) , have bulleted notes. open in quickoffice--it looks fine, no problems far. continue using bullets type out whatever want--still, no problem, looks fine. save dropbox , open on mac , of spaces in between bullets have inserted bullets reason. why? known bug?

example, original doc looks this:
-etc etc etc

-etc etc etc

new doc looks (note new bullet):
-etc etc etc
-
-etc etc etc

ideas?
