i have 2008 macbook pro pre-unibody has refused warn me it's battery life since may 2011. before may, used pop , "you're running on reserve battery" , put sleep. now, totally dies. no warning , no sleeping.
replaced battery few months later generic battery (not apple brand) , problem continued. i've re-calibrated both batteries multiple times, , today installed new hdd , reinstalled os scratch , upgraded 10.6 10.7. still keeps dying.
ideas appreciated. driving me insane.
faulty battery? happens. download , install coconutbattery check on health of battery.
