Macbook Air Owners with Apple TV

i have been thinking getting apple tv when 3rd 1 released , wondering how apple tv functions air display.

curious see if turn on air display put air in clamshell mode , use bluetooth mouse/keyboard operate computer.

please let me know if have apple tv , use setup!
