iphone 4 won't start up or power down

it won't power down when holding top button.
stuck on apple logo.
tried entering dfu/recovery mode , using tiny umbrella exit.
no luck
firmware 4.3.3 believe.
iphone not jailbroken
don't want restore 5.01.
tried downloading 4.3.3 , restoring error 3194.
suggestions?
