Do you believe more in these "smart" devices, or in simplicity of use?

many things becoming "smart" these days. traditional products refrigerators , televisions have been upgraded "smart" status.

if choose between modern, simple design easy usability, or "smart" design more features (but in end more tedious , less simple), choose?

prefer simplicity. think it's great products being improved upon, don't these "smart" devices. devices, phones, tablets, computers, etc. made have many features. when comes items tvs , refrigerators, don't idea of "smart".

reason created thread right because surfing samsung's website, , noticed 90% of led tvs "smart". year or 2 ago, able choose "dumb" tvs, prefer don't have interact samsung's "apps", , other features don't need make usability more difficult. since i'm used apple's world, don't want start being forced buy products samsung's "smart" software.

think great if continue innovate, keep things simple.

call me strange, pay more new "dumb" tv don't have deal "fluff" , tedious features of using smart tv.

when "dumb", don't mean old or less innovative. mean simplicity of not having deal overwhelming amount of features.

 

i'd add bought new microwave abundant amount of buttons, menus, , settings annoying. prefer old microwave more.

gotta read manual... never have do.
