Chrome has never been quite right...

some things google chrome have never quite worked me
-specific websites lifehacker not load new articles-the address bar changes, sidebar remains, article stays in "loading" mode.
-cmd-shift-delete doesn't bring clear history box

has else ever had these issues? have years , wondering if need change setting elsewhere or perhaps remove chrome , reinstall it. or switch firefox...
