iCloud question with two devices

i searched around , haven't found answer one. here can help.

wife , each got 4s @ release , set them both @ same time.

share itunes account, figured sharing icloud idea too.

wrong! obviously, shouldn't have done , of contacts/calendar items automatically went phone.

later removed icloud info phone , set own.

problem - contacts/calendars remain.

there simple way of replacing whats on there? mess delete individually - work contacts on there , number in thousands.
