Salvaging a dead macbook's harddrive?

hi all,

had 2008 macbook die on me. told mother board dead , hard drive spared. have been doing digging online , seems can take drive out , put in external enclosure, can function external hard drive.

looked on apple's website , appears macbook model uses sata drive. found external enclosure:

http://www.powerbookmedic.com/sata-hard-drive-enclosure---macbook-and-macbook-pro-p-17017.html

so, had couple of questions:

1.) need tools put drive in , secure in external enclosure?

2.) if use usb cable attach drive different computer, able drag , drop files directly off drive or new computer attempt reformat drive?

3.) has used website http://www.powerbookmedic.com/? website seems professional enough, wanted make sure "legit" before business them.

in advance!

removed.
