Cannot update installed software

hi!

updating software on regular base, after had rebuild system time machine backup, wrong.

every time update e.g. libre office, firefox etc., fails. open dmg file , move app applications folder. asked password , message

the operation can’t completed because items had skipped. each item, choose file > info, make sure “locked” deselected, , check sharing & permissions section. when sure items unlocked , not designated read or no access, try again.

appears. seems, created folder (e.g. /application/firefox.app) empty.

workaround can delete application before moving trash , install new version.

have no idea why not work, maybe can give me hints!

 

did have filevault enabled before restoring tm backup ?
