new mac. have nas (celerra). once finalized move files celerra. running fine reason when copying mac nas throws error 36 (excess buffer something).
figured out since nas folder has way many tiff files takes 5 10 mins show in mac. when drag mac nas gets stuck @ preparing copy.
wondering can use command line copy , paste? if useful.
created temp folder on nas , dragging works fine.
thank you.
code:
cp <source file> <destination directory>
so, if nas mounted @ /volumes/nas , wanted copy tiff files in current directory nas, do:
code:
cp *.tiff /volumes/nas
