Computer died, now need to resync iPhone

my wife's computer gave ghost few weeks ago , hard drive had massive failure. got new computer, have issue of how iphone synced new computer without losing data. in particular don't want lose music or calendar data sync'd old computer. how achieve this? have feeling when plug iphone new computer, general wipe of data going occur. make quite unhappy, particularly in calendar arena.

 

if using icloud backup calendar it'll there when resync. if rebuilt computer using time machine backup it'll last time backed up.
if replaced old windows pc windows pc shame on
