syncing problems

please me!!

have iphone; son has ipod touch. we're both linked same itunes/app. store account. phone considered main device. time deleted apps paid for. can them on phone through usual channels, not appear on ipod. follow usual channels using ipod them appear , won't. says they're installed, can't find them anywhere. don't know else try (other repurchasing, app store won't give me option because says they're installed).

help.
