Internal DVD drive just ejects discs.

hi all

2010 27" imac's dvd drive accepts discs, sits 20-30 seconds ejects them. don't show @ in disk utility.

however, if boot camp windows 7, windows mount discs fine. left 1 mounted , rebooted os x (lion), , disc showed on desktop fine. eject , re-insert cause go ejecting disc.

have tried resetting pram , nvram, , have tried unplugging imac while in case... don't have odd running in background...

got ideas please?

 

dvd drive ejects disks

have exact same issue dvd drive. dvds work, others not, although work in other players. seems have gotten worse on time or software updates.

i've read ton of postings people similar issues. if can help, grateful

dvd information , running 10.6.8!
