iPhoto for iOS Not Using Google Maps

appears apple chose not use google maps in iphoto ios, noticed 512 pixels.

apple has purchased 2 companies mapping technology, placebase , c3, in past few years. however, it's not @ clear apple got map tiles, whether internal technology or if licensed other source.

apple use google maps in mac version of iphoto.

wow, "satellite" image looks map drawing 1800s. don't @ all. acquired huge good-looking map companies, , bring this? um.. well..
