internet sharing kills internet connection

hi
in weekend house available internet connection through mobile phone. behaves wi-fi hotspot. macbook pro running 10.6.8 connects flawlessly.
problems started when needed provide internet connection computer not have wifi, ethernet. tried use "internet sharing" feature of mac, airport input, ethernet output. after playing available parameters on mac , on other computer without success, noticed when "internet sharing" flag on (system preferences->sharing->internet sharing) mac connection internet drops. there no hints of event, other not being able reach internet. happens when ethernet cable other computer disconnected.
