iPod touch 3rd generation ipod touch cant get into dfu mode and wont restore

hi, have tethered jailbroken 3rd generation ipod touch. today ipod working weird, screen randomy stopped working , open apps didnt press on. because of this, decided reboot ipod. when asked go in dfu mode, did said , ipod go in recovery mode, retried 2o times , still same thing. tried restore ipod fix said error... do???

 

keep trying. ipod go dfu mode. reason why not go dfu mode hardware problem.

ps: pink text bit eye searing.
