apple says it's suspending iphone 4s sales in mainland china following violence reported earlier, in angry customers threw eggs @ company's flagship store in beijing. crowd had queued in freezing temperatures purchase newly-arrived 4s, subsequently told store not opening business -- hence angry response. seems many in mob weren't normal consumers, workers put in place resellers wanted buy devices , sell them on @ profit. there similar disorder when ipad 2 went on sale in china, , apple spokesperson has said risk staff great, forcing halt 4s sales
