Is the average UK price of a 2006 Mac Pro likely to drop if/when new models arrive?

i'm in position possibly able afford cheap mac pro. given budget mean 1 of original 2006 "1,1" models.

@ moment these seem go on ebay.co.uk between £650 & £850 depending on specifications.

assuming apple release new mac pros in next few months, people predict cause earlier models drop in price, including original 2006 models?

i'd hate pay, say, £700 find same spec. available in couple of months £500.

appreciate hundred-billionth time "should buy or wait?" has been asked piece of technology on internet forum, , no-one has crystal ball, perhaps particular insight (a second-hand mac dealer perhaps?) share thoughts?

that seems awful lot of money such old , relatively slow (now) mac pro. i'm sure money better spent on imac - relatively recent 21.5" i5 kind of money kick mac pro 1,1 on place!

particular reason want mac pro?
