my husband works @ authorized reseller verizon, , iphone 4s have on display has had black screen few days now. screen flicker if hit home or lock buttons , can activate siri , use still.
being iphone guru in family, called me down come @ it. tried hard reset (holding home , lock buttons until apple pops up) , got apple pop up. once booted able see lock screen , swipe unlock it. once unlocked able view home screen few seconds before went black again.
short of hooking itunes , doing restore, difficult display phone , glued security device, don't know else tell them try. wondering if messing around changed setting causing find unlikely. i'm more leaning towards phone being damaged internally somehow.
has experienced this, , able resolve in anyway? advice appreciated
