Should I buy an iPad 2 or new iPad?

hey,

i'm thinking buying ipad , wonder whether new ipad or ipad 2? if ipad 2 i'll getting apple refurbished 1 makes quite lot cheaper new one.

in terms of use i'd want streaming tv, using iwork, taking notes in meetings , watching movies , playing games. know wouldn't use camera means it's display makes difference new 1 i'd in wifi anyway.

should buy?

clearly save money buying ipad 2 - amazing machine.

cover needs. things should think are:

1) how desperate 'new thing'? know i'm gadget fiend, , have unhealthy desire whatever newest. if can fight that, great.

2) how need improved graphics performance? counts if you're going playing high end games and/or working photos.

if aren't going using device this, lower end 2 fine.

3) how long want keep machine - how 'future proofed' wish be? - while can't know future, ios history shows after couple of generations, new operating systems won't work or offered limited functionality. if 3rd gen ipad, it's receive updates (and able run new features) longer ipad 2.

4) how reading doing on ipad? if can, @ iphone 3gs , iphone 4. difference on screens enormous. if reading on screen - retina display worth $100 or so.

- again, it's balancing features want, , can afford.
