iPad 3 A Disaster Waiting To Happen?

ipad 3 supposedly getting 2048x1536 display.
ipad 1 & 2 have 1024x768 display. 786000 pixels.

ipad 3 has 3145000 pixels. it's 4 times number of pixels in ipad 1 & 2.
ipad 3 has drive 4 times more pixels on screen, , plus dual led bars.

10 hrs/4 = 2.5?!

ipad 3's battery last 2.5hrs per full charge??
that's terrible!

 

the iphone 4 drives 4 times many pixels 3gs, , didn't see huge drop in battery life there.
