Is Samsung 830 SSD Compatible with Late 2006 MBPRO?

i have late 2006 mbpro 15 inch, 2.14 ghz, core 2 duo. hd fried. want replace ssd internal.

yes, work. 2006 mbp has s-ata 1.5 gbps (s-ata i) interface though, limit s-ata 6.0 gbps (s-ata iii) ssd speeds, apparent during large file copy processes on same ssd.
