Can't turn off calendar alerts

hello - new iphone user , new forums. i'm hoping can me resolve issue.

have 4s. entered various things onto calendar, , not want alerts. @ all. can't seem turn them off.

under settings -> mail, contacts, calendars - > new invitation alerts set off, , default alert times set none

every time enter event on calendar, set alert 'none' or @ least try to. wants default '10 minutes before.' when try , change it, either ignores change, or, worse, accepts change 'none', reverts '10 minutes before' when check moments later.

real problem on 'all day' events. wants give me alarm @ 11:50 pm night before. no thank phone.

how thing take hint?

i'd been having same problem , found answer. turns out problem not in calendar in google (i'm guessing you're using gmail , syncing phone through that). when went gmail's calendar settings, found under reminders there default remind me 10 minutes before event had remove. overriding changed in calendar phone or computer.
