Freezes when I touch trackpad or buttons

powerbook g4 aluminum 10.4.11

long not touch trackpad, or button ok
when use mouse works fine, if touch trackpad, or buttons freezes
can nothing, not pluged in mouse.
way coulld work again hold down power button , restart it.

thinking more software problem
