Running a bash file when opening an application

hello,

how can run bash file when opening application?
( when opening application .bash file run ).

also, wondering if code can correct:
prism --app application.ini --override ../resources/webapp/
override.ini --webapp ../resources/webapp

right can think of 2 ways of doing it:

1) call script in applicationdidfinishlaunching() method using nstask

2) use automator bundle execution of shell script application

i'm not sure if calling bash script during program start programming style osx apps. might security issue too.
