Did I Get The iPad 2 Instead of The iPad 3?

so pre-ordered ipad 3 (from apple) , never saw says/said 3rd-generation on box or on product.

when looked in itunes under "itunes in cloud" came under manage devices.

has not been updated yet through apple or did ipad 2?

i'm having issue kindle books , noticed when activated new ipad device amazon recognized ipad 2. think it's software setting inside os. when @ screen, won't mistake difference.
