SMS GV Extension & 2-Step authentication

anyone able use 2-step authentication sms gv extensions?

https://gvexts.appspot.com/sms/sms.html claims "fully compatible ios 5 (and ios 4.x) , google’s 2-step authentication."

can't figure out how 2-step works sms gv.


there spot enter in google voice user/pass (first step), enter in 6 digit pin google authenticator app? (second step)

 

this tripped me @ first.

username = username (i putting username@gmail.com @ first)
password = regular google voice/gmail password

make sure have actual google voice app appstore on phone , signed + allow push notifications (at first has sms gv extension without actual app , didn't work )
