iPhone 3GS Jailbroken slow

hey all,

jailbroke iphone 3gs other day , have been quite happy results far apart issue why i'm making forum topic.. memory running out! can have max of 1 app in background before starts slowing down dramatically , case before jailbroke although wasn't slow.. have sbsettings think , i'm on 40mb free memory right "messages" , "settings" open...

in case helps diagnose issues current cydia apps have installed are:
activator
icon renamer
ifile
pushtone
sbsettings
spire
springtomize 2
wififofum
wifisms
zephyr

i had similar issues jailbroken 3gs, overall performance on 3gs when it's jailbroken on ios 5 not good, on ios 5 , not jailbroken it's still not snappiest thing. recommend getting rid of spire, found after removed helped clear memory , ran little bit better, springtomize 2 when removed helped well. found springtomize not handy when came customization on things if can go without drop , winterboard themes. avoid dream board on 3gs since insane memory , battery hog. hope helps some! can check out link in info iphone unleashed, extensive guide tones of great info iphone newbies , veterans alike. feel free message me time if have more questions , luck 3gs
