over last few days i've had strange problem imac. it's inconsistent, descriptions of long. i'm wanted know whether has experienced similar, or idea of problem is.
started happening few days ago, here , there, on windows partition, , while processing 3d graphics in game. first time screen went blue , crazy flickering made eyes sore; had hard restart, mac wouldn't take input. other times take input, part of right side of screen appearing on left side, , image distorted. still other times black out vertical lines of grey or other colours, not taking input.
morning happened on mac os x first time, when finished watching youtube video. background white , lines grey; wouldn't receive input. later in day screen keep blacking out, faint vertical lines, windows or os x started up. then, if did boot, os x started taking ages launch, far longer windows.
neither os x, nor recovery partition, boot; stuck @ plain grey screen right before os x shows up. windows not black-out before launching.
1 final thing i've noticed didn't seem happen in morning. doubt thing change in morning now, considering how bad situation has got today.
anyway, reading. if have idea problem might please let me know. best guess @ moment logic board problem.

amd radeon hd 6970m 1gb
you should bring in repairsdescribe, problems may range defective psu on problems logic board bad graphics card.
