i don't know if else has noticed, (and might coincidental) i've bought both 1st gen 3g ipad, , 2nd.
me? or speeds, reliability , perhaps overall cellular technology isn't iphone?
on both generations, i've cancelled 3g data plan ipad , used iphone tether. travel lot on motorways/highways , find tethering iphone data way more reliable ipad?
worth getting 3g ipad once more?
it worth don't have iphone or phone tethering capabilities.
think majority of people purchase 3g ipad (myself included), on assumption come in handy when needed. whether on road trip, cruise, overseas, commuting, have you. exponentially easier have 1 ipad exceptional 10 hour battery life vs. tethering phone may give 5 hours battery life @ best.
biggest culprit somewhat-ancient unlimited data plan at&t pulled plug on after ipad's inception. 3gb of monthly data doesn't seem sufficient data-hogging hulu , netflix. plenty majority use though- email, facebook, twitter, games, , forums.
maybe apple introduce sprint ipad on wednesday , can damn unlimited data back! until sprint ye old bait-and-switch is...
