hi all,

little cutie has spent last 10 years or more in attic:

today took down , turned on, , still works. still has documents , stuff on it, last time used it.

bought second hand time in mid 1990s. replaced keyboard , used quite short time, after bought blue ibook, used until 2005. last mac until current macmini, bought month ago.

curious, duo running system 7.6, has 4mb or ram , 80mb hard disk. screen not in wonderful condition; looks it's divided squares. trackball has stopped working, had use old mouse, in attic, going. have dock (actually think had two) , external floppy drive, haven't tested.

[edit] have idea trouble trackball be? far remember, used work before put computer in attic.

congrats!

i'm envious. i've picked several duos via ebay way, , every 1 of them has had dreaded keyboard problems. have 1 2300 i'd love , running, haven't taken time. maybe 1 of these days...

have tried removing trackball , cleaning contacts? (i know, technical terms there...) i've had no trouble of trackballs on of duos, or on couple 180s, have. remember having remove trackballs , clean on old, generic windows laptops forced use in office worked in ages ago...
