Uh oh... meatball sauce stain on nice white shorts!

i devouring subway meatball footlong earlier , happened of delicious marinara sauce on new, bright white cotton shorts.

immediately, took shorts off (put other ones on) , tried dab stain out. when didn't work added pre wash stain remover stain , threw them in wash. didn't work either. tried soak them in cool - warm water mixed laundry powder few hours , hasn't worked either?

options? how stubborn orange sauce stains out of nice white shorts?
