hey guys, new here, hoping me out.
have 4th gen 32gb ipod touch bought in beginning of january.
2 weeks ago started hearing slight popping noise while it's connected kenwood excelon kdc-x995 via usb.
old 2nd gen 8gb touch connected same head unit same music (copied same source on computer both devices) audio crystal clear.
problem appears random, can restart same song on , won't pop @ same time did before. doesn't matter music is, songs mp3, apple lossless, m4a.
confirm ipod , not stereo, brought best buy , docked $600 bose sound dock , hear same popping noise.
noise seems more prominent on higher end devices, in car it's amplified lot more cheap dock / alarm clock.
also, if connect same ipod car stereo headphone jack doesn't make popping noise.
wondering if else has had issue, , can expect apple when make appointment @ apple store have looked at.
i've tried doing factory reset no luck, same problem. also, giggles, tried 2 different usb cables.
take genius examination. it's still under warranty. right?
