Questions for frequent travellers

hello. move around different countries (from few days visit long term stay) often. considering buy iphone 4s. please let me know following:

1. buying/using different sim cards in different countries recommended way?

2. far know, each sim card comes different phone number. there way use same phone number time while in different countries? doing cost more money? difficult inform change phone number whenever visit new country.

3. least locally, each sim card can used few months. if not add money current card before expiration date, need buy new card new phone number. may apply several countries. in other words, unless keep adding money before each expiration date, have change phone number in different countries every few months. expensive , complicated. how work? there recommended way solve issue?

4. there rumors iphone 5 out in october. far know, current iphone 4s 3g only. fast enough browsing complicated websites?

5. expect many big countries use 4g within year?

1. easier, have buy unlocked 4s work. (also make sure micro-sim cards)

2. skype number , use everywhere travel, contacts need call 1 number reach you.

3. not expensive or complicated, since in many countries can buy pre-paid sims convenience stores.

4. plenty fast enough.

5. not many, not issue long have decent 3g speeds on move.
